Merry Christmas..
Sophie would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I hope everyone spends time with there family and remembers the true reason we celebrate this day.
Sophie had so much fun making Christmas cookies and cutting them out and decortating them. She sat there patiently watching them cook, asking, "are they done yet". Thank goodness for Daddy b/c they had enough white icing and sparkle gel to put anyone in a diabetic coma, but he ate them with a smile on his face. I just love stepping back at watching her go, its amazing how her creative mind thinks.

Rambling..
I am watching Sophie sleep. Thinking how much my life has changed. I am so thankful we were blessed with our daughter. She is so amazing and kind. I would never go back to my life before. I had a lot of fun growing up but it lead me to the best part, Sophie. Of course there are many things I would do differently if I could go back in time. But if I changed my past and went in a different direction, I might not have my Sophie. So for all the mistakes I have made in the end. I have a wonderful family and true friends that will always be there for me and love me and understand my faults and strengths. So I just want to thank everyone and say I love you. Of course to Stevie thank you for being a wonderful husband. You might not always like me but I know you always love me.
Today we went and had pictures with Santa. If you remember we skipped last year because Sophie was scared of Santa. Our first two years she sat in his lap and cried. This year she asked to go and see him, as we were standing in line waiting our turn, Sophie said, "Mama I am being patient." When it was our turn she jumped up in his lap gave him a hug and told him what she wanted. On her list was Tinkerbell Computer, skateboard, makeup and jewels etc...

Getting ready to sing.
Singing Jingle Bells...
Sophie had her first Christmas program at school. It was so cute they sang christmas songs and all wore shirts with there hadprints to look like christmas trees. I was worried how she would do in front of all the parents and grandparents. Well she did great she sang so big. I cant wait for there next show in the spring. My baby girl is just getting so tall and grown up, I just wish I could slow down time.

a very happy little girl.
Well the tooth fairy came to visit Sophie on Dec 7. It was a little sooner than planned. If you didnt know she fell and hit her tooth on a table at school and it broke. I took her to dentist to find out our options and pretty much all we could do was get it extracted. It was a hard decision to make but it was the best thing for the tooth and her. The way it broke it was very close to the nerve and could cause her pain later. We visit the dentist often because Sophie has enamel hypoplasia (very weak enamel). We just pray and hope when her permanent teeth come in that we will not have this problem. Dr Rhoner said there is no way of knowing, that they see kids that there permanent teeth are fine and some not. They also have kids that there baby teeth are fine and there permanent teeth have hypoplasia. So all we can do at this time is give her teeth extra attention and visit the dentist often. So we made a big deal out of losing her tooth. We told her all about the tooth fairy, she was so excited. When she woke up she had a letter from her and Alphie. She could not wait to go to school and tell everyone about the tooth fairy. As you can tell she is still our beautiful happy Sophie.

This is my best friend and sister. I am so lucky that I was blessed with such a wonderful sister. We are so different in many ways but so alike. I could not imagine going through life without her. We are always there for each other and are so happy for each others accomplishments. You know the old saying, you mess with one us..you are messing with both of us. Love you sissy..We will always be the Griffin Sisters... ( and we all know I hate my picture taken..)
