My wonderful friend Katrina came up from Orlando this week. She couldnt get over how big Miss Sophie has gotten. We really enjoyed getting to hang out. We miss and love you bunches Auntie Katrina.

These were taken April 18th she was 12 weeks old. She is Mama's big girl....

April 16th. Sophies first day to school (daycare) and my first day at a new job. Talk about stress....Sophie did a lot better than her Mama. Stevie went to pick her up at 1230, he thought we should ease her into daycare. I think its more like ease us into it. She got a great reportcard on her first day. We were so proud...

Sophie with her Aunt Madison. We went to Joes Crab Shack to celebrate her 16th birthday. We had a good time. Poor Madison, her brothers cant stand that she is growing up, the thought of her dating drives them crazy. They better get use to it, because she is growing up to be a pretty girl.....

Then and Now

I was looking back at her pictures from the hospital. It makes me so sad to see how big she has gotten. My Mom always told me that you dont know what love is until you are a Mom. I never really understood that until now. My whole life has changed, every decision I make is for Sophie. It doesnt matter what I want to do, it's what is the best thing for her..Everyone knows I start back to work on Monday at a new job at Childrens. I dont mind working. I know sophie will be fine without me. But I am not sure if I will be fine without her. I just dont want to miss out on anything. Life goes by so fast.

There once lived a little girl in Hueytown who wouldnt go to sleep. All she wanted to do was play and laugh. Her Mommy thought it was cute, her Dad had no idea what was happening because he was asleep. And then after a few nights of this her Mommy went crazy because she was exhausted. THE END

Today Sophie is 11 weeks old. She is starting Daycare on Monday. I am so not looking forward to that day...

This is Sophie's first easter dress that Granny bought her. She looked adorable of course ,she wore her pearl bracelet also, a lady always wears Pearls. She wore it to Uncle Seths wedding also, I was proud of Sophie she did so good during the ceremony. I sat on the end just in case she acted out so I could make a quick exit if needed.

Here are a few pictures that I took from this past weekend. Seth and Jennys wedding was beautiful and fun. I had a great time. Jekyll Island is a really pretty place. Jenny has a great family I think that we all mesh well together. I have never seen Seth look so happy. Sophie got a lot of attention because we all know she was the prettiest girl around.

Today Sophie is 10 weeks old. Growing and changing everyday. The joy of being a Mother is amazing.

This is Sophie's big brother Gus...He is getting a little jealous, he wanted to smile for the camera. They dont look much alike except for the uncontrollable hair.
