What a difference a year makes. I think this is still one of my favorite snapshots of Sophie...I miss my baby..

I cant believe Sophie is one. We had her party on Saturday. Everything turned out wonderful. I have many more pictures. I am going to find time this weekend to blog. Her actual birthday was Thursday the 24th, Stevie and I took off work and spent the whole day with her. We went to the McWane Center, got fitted for her high top white walkers at Sikes. This year has flown by, I wish I could slow time....I am so blessed to have my family. In the past year I have truly found the meaning of life, yes my days are very busy and I am tired, but honestly I would not trade for anything in the world.

I cant believe we got a little bit of snow. It was really pretty, Sophie was not sure what to think. We had some fun outside for a few minutes. It was really to cold for Sophie to stay out long.

Happy New Year from Sophie. I hope everyone has a great New Year. I couldnt ask for anything else I am truly blessed with my husband and daughter and my great friends and family. Thank You for everything, I cant say thank you enough for all the support and help since Sophie has entered our lives. She is truly a blessing and brings happiness and joy to so many.

We went to Gulf Shores to spend time with our friends Brad, Shelly and Letson and the rest of the gang. Sophie and Letson played so well together. Letson wasnt to thrilled about sharing his new chair with Sophie. She loved sitting like a big girl. We ordered her one as soon as we got home....

Today we went to visit Santa at Brookwood Mall... Everything was looking great, she was happy and playful in line......then......Santa got her....wow all heck broke loose. I thought Stevie was going to break his neck trying to get her. He can not stand to see her cry. Well better luck next year.

As you can tell we are working on self feeding. This is Miss Sophie enjoying some oatmeal. As you can tell all she has on is a diaper and we got a bath right after feeding. Oh yeah and dont worry she picked the bowl up and dumped out the oatmeal and finger painted in it, it was lovely...... Oh sorry about her hair, its always out of control these days.
