Some of our friends came to the river..and yes this is Shane going off the swing..I guess he still thinks we are 19. Kerry was not a huge fan of the idea, but he lives on, so i guess its ok.

I went and picked Sophie up from school and one of her teachers braided her hair. It was so cute. I have no idea how to braid...i was so not a girly girl. So if anyone is willing to give me a lesson, I am up for the task...I didnt even think you could braid her hair its so fine and not very long.

First Trip to Disney Store

Oh, how she loves Mickey...

Sophie loved the Disney Store....she cried when we left. We cant wait to take her to Disney. We are just having a hard time deciding when is the right age.

Happy Fourth of July

Happy 4th of July..

We hope everyone enjoyed the 4th. Of course we spent ours at the river. Nothing like a day of Bar-b-que, sunscreen, boatriding and bug repellant..

Favorite place to hangout.....You cant open the fridge without her wanting to stand in it and check things out....Now I understand fridge locks...

Sophie just being silly. She thinks its so funny to get my cellphone and go hide. This girl loves a phone...

17 Months old

We cant believe our baby is 17months. She loves looking out our window at the squirels playing in the yard. She is growing up so fast. I miss being able to hold my baby when i want to, now she wants to be running around playing not sitting still in my arms.

Bubbles !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We thought Sophie would love a bubble bath...Boy were we wrong..it was a disaster. We know better now...no bubbles for a while.

First Haircut

Sophie got her first haircut at Sweet and Sassy. She did so good and sat so still. She never made a facial expression. She makes me laugh at the way she stares at people and never smiles.

15 months old

I can not believe she is 15 months. She is so funny these days. She makes so many facial expressions. I hope to catch some of them on camera and I will share them.

Well we thought that we would give them both a bath at the same time and watch them play. But as you can tell that did not happen. They screamed and cried when they were in the tub together. Shelly and me couldnt stop laughing so we could get one of them out, I had to take a picture.. Dont worry this picture is for sure going into the slideshow at their wedding....

We went to visit our best friends in Gulf Shores in April... Letson and Sophie are so fun to watch together. I think we are going to have trouble from these two when they get older.
