Little Miss Princess

We had to put on a party dress today. To celebrate Nannys birthday at the Bright Star. So we took a couple of pictures before we left. Of course everyone thought she was so cute. She cried when we finally got home she did not want to take the dress off. She loves dress up.

Happy Birthday Nanny

Well we all went to the Bright Star today to have a early celebration of my Nanny's birthday. She will be 85 on Wednesday. My mom made her a homemade strawberry cake (yummy). We left with a empty cakeplate after all the waitstaff got a look at it. I hope I live to see 85 and am able to watch Sophie grow up and have a family of her own and see my great grandkids. I love you Nanny.. We couldnt have 85 candles I think its against firecode. HAHA. So we settled with three for past, present and future.

Well Sophie had a fever virus last week...Was only to able to go to school 3.5 days.( What would we do without Grandparents). I wasnt too worried about things until the night her fever went to 105.8. You talk about the nervous Mama. I think i forgot for about 1omins that i was a nurse and have worked at Childrens for 8 years. So once I calmed down, stripped her naked gave her some Motrin and nice bath. Things were ok, it didnt take long for the fever to start dropping.
So of course she felt rotten. So I wanted to cheer her up a little, so what little girl doesnt want a kitchen to play with. I was right, she has really enjoyed it. I dont think I have ever eaten so many plastic "brench bries" or hotdogs in my life...

Wanna Hug ?

Sophie is enjoying the paint (washable) the Easter bunny brought. She loves to color so we thought we would try the paint, and its a hit. It has been so pretty outside. She loves to play outside. So we have been doing a lot of outdoor activites. Before the humid Alabama heat only allows us (meaning Mama) to be outside in short increments. Unless we are at the river enjoying a Pontoon ride or at the beach.

This morning after I got Sophie ready for school. I just sat back and looked at her, she looks so grown up. Its really hard watching her grow up so fast.

Easter 2009

Look what the Easter Bunny dropped off for littile Miss Sophie......

Of course she loved all her goodies, but of course first thing was, to put on her necklace and braclet and apply her new lipstick...Sophie ate candy all day, I think the only real food she ate was a roll. Oh well it was Easter what the heck...

Beautiful little angel....I can not even begin to express the love i have for our daughther. Its truly amazing being a Mother. Somedays its hectic and tiring, but when she runs up to you with her arms spread widely and says "hold you, big hug"it makes it all worth while.

Sophie loved hunting easter eggs. The funniest thing was that she wanted to hide them and find them.

Funny Face

This is Sophie's funny face... Not sure where it came from. You can ask to see her funny face and this is what you get. Of course we think its cute...

Here are some pictures of Sophie the morning of her easter party at school. She loves to wear dresses, she will hold onto the sides and turn side to side and say "oh so pretty". Of course she also had to look at a book before we could leave. Its a wonder how I ever make it to work on time.

Cupcakes !!!!!!

Today was a rainy day. So what better to do than make cupcakes.. Sophie had so much fun decorating and eating the cupcakes. I am sure I will be sweeping up sprinkles for weeks... She was running in circles laughing and having so much fun. Can u say sugar high...

Getting ready for bedtime...

Another fun afternoon at the park.. She gets so excited when we go to the park. She has even starting to ask to go. As you can tell by the smile on her face , she loves to swing..

Here are a few pictures from the day we spent at my sisters house. Sophie had so much fun playing with Jackson and Dylan. They are so good with her. They blew bubbles, kicked balls and ran around the yard. I wished they lived a little closer so we could have more family time together.
