Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial weekend despite the weather. I enjoyed spending time with family and friends. I missed my sister, they stayed at home this year. Sophie has truly fallen in love with the river. She reminds me of myself when I was little. Being at the river has always made me happy. I have so many wonderful memories growing up at the cabin. I guess its time for the next generation to love it as much as we do. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

Loves the Sand

Sophie loves playing in the sand. We are looking forward to taking her to Destin for a week in June. These little moments mean so much. We just want to make good memories, spending time with her is so important.

Spring School Pictures

This is Sophie's school pictures. I think they turned out so cute. She just looks so much older than 3 years old. She acts just like me when I was little. My Dad says he wants to live to see her as a teenager, so he can just sit back and laugh. Thanks Dad. Hopefully she will not act like me when she gets older. If she does she is living with you and Mama.

Sophie was so excited getting her hair done for the recital.

This is the doctors I have the pleasure of working with. I am very lucky to work with such wonderful people that I can call friends. I just wanted to share with everyone a recent picture that was taken of them.

Happy Anniversary

We celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary March 20th. Its hard to believe it has been six years. Stevie got us a suite at The Redmont Hotel with the annviersary package. We got champagne and choclate covered strawberries delivered to our room, a late check out at 2pm and breakfast. It was really nice, we had a good time. Amanda and Kenny, Danny and Christine went to dinner with us to celebrate, after dinner we went upstairs to the rooftop bar at the Hotel for a few drinks and some fun. The view of Birmingham from the rooftop was so pretty. If i could give any advice on marriage is that its not easy and does take work. But I wouldnt want to be with anyone else besides Stevie. Him and Sophie are my world and they make me happy. I just wonder what the future has in store for us....the adventure continues.

It was such a pretty day on Saturday, so we took Sophie to the park for a little while. I think she could stay at the park all day

Here a couple of pictures of Stevies car. I was so scared when I pulled up at the accident to see his car in the middle of the road upside down. I am lucky my Dad was with me. I am so thankful Stevie was ok, and to all the people who helped at the accident, made me realize people still do care for strangers. It was a long ambulance ride to UAB downtown, but his nurse Heidi made our 13hour visit tolerable, I love a good nurse. We got Stevie a Jeep Liberty Limited, it nice, but he misses his Jetta and the gas mileage. The accident just made me realize how fast things can change, i never want to take our life for granted and try to find the positive in everything.
