Sophie & Ju Ju

Juliette lives next door to my parents and they have so much fun playing together. They love playing dress up, running around outside, and aggravating the living heck out of my Dad (but he loves it). Its so funny to stand outside the door and listen to their conversations. Ju Ju will come to my parents house even when Sophie is not there just to visit, they love every minute of it.

Fun at the Fair..

I forgot to post these pictures. We got to enjoy the fair this year with some friends and family.

Lazy Day

Sophie enjoying a nice lazy day outside. She never went to sleep laying under the tree, but she did lay still for about 30minutes and said it was so "comfortable". Sophie loves days on the weekend when nothing is planned and we just get to hang out around the house. We dont get many of those days, when we do I take full advantage.

Softball Practice #2

Today was practice number two. I have enjoyed watching Sophie on the field. She is little compared to some of the other girls, and many of them have played before, some of them are allstars. Even if she did run to the wrong base, not throw the ball the right place. She is having fun and thats what its all about. I have laughed so much and enjoyed being back at the ball park.

We had her first practice for softball. Sophie is with the six and under group, some of those girls are really good. It was so funny watching the younger kids. Sophie had lots of fun, she knows several girls playing which made it really fun to watch them interact with each other. I am so proud of her, I think she is really going to like softball.

New Ride..

Sophie is enjoying her new Hybrid Escalade, talk about an early Christmas. She is having so much fun, I just wish it wasnt 100+ degrees outside. She has the radio turned up, wind in her hair, the neighborhood better watch out. I think she needs her own garage for her rides.

Our Gift..

My heart, she gives so many people joy and happiness. A child is such a precious gift from God, we are lucky he has given us the gift of being parents. I promise I will do my best in raising her and point her in the right direction, put in the end she will ultimately choose her own path.

First Day of K3

Today was the first day of K3. Sophie was excited she got more kids in her classroom, she loves new friends. She got so excited to show me her folder today and what she learned. Also she is excited they are having Grandparents day on Sept 10th, they get to come and eat breakfast. I am looking forward to her learning reading and math this year. Sophie has two great teachers Michelle and Natalie, it feels good knowing that she really likes them and they love her.

Roll TIde

Well not sure what is going on around your house, but here at the Raymonds we are getting ready for some football. If I am not mistaken its like 23 more days. I was looking for Sophie some gameday shoes and I came across these beauts. So of course had to have them, she loves them and so does her Daddy. They are going to be so cute with her outfit we ordered. I am ready for fall weather a pot of chilli on the stove, friends over and football. Doesnt get better than that. Oh yeah a winning season. RTR

" The Boys"

Sophie loves her some Jackson and Dylan, she calls them "her boys". They are so good with her teaching her things and reading to her, whatever Sophie wants to do they will do. I trust that they will protect her when they get older, they are the big brothers she doesnt have.

Peanut Butter Cookies

Sophie loves being in the kitchen with me cooking, so I let her help me as much as possible. Who knows she might be the next master chef..

already sleeping like a married couple. JK They wore each other out, they both slept all night. They had fun running around the house laughing and even played dress up, ssshhhhh dont tell Shane.

Shower Time..

For the past week, Sophie has taken a shower. She says, "big girls take showers" she has even used my shampoo and shower gel, because she doesnt want to use the baby soap. She has become so independent lately it really makes me sad she is growing so fast.
