Easter Morning

We had a good Easter this year. We got to take Sophie camping for the first time at Tannehill. It was nice spending the time together as a family. She was a little nervous that the Easter bunny would not find her. As you can tell from the pictures the Easter bunny found her and Belle. I am glad I caught her expression on her face when she saw her Justin Bieber CD, I think she would hang his poster in her bedroom if I would allow it. She is only four, what is going to happen when she is thirteen?

These are a few pictures of Sophie. I like the top photo because if you look close you can see her freckles.

Down by the Creek Bank

They had there Spring show at school, "Down by The Creek Bank". It was all the 2,3 and 4 year olds together. They sang around 10songs, they all wore overalls and white shirts. It was very cute, Sophie did a great job. We were all so very proud of her and all the kids. Of course they never put Sophie and Mims right next to each other to make getting pictures easier, I guess its probaly a good thing to seperate them. I look at them together in the top picture and its hard to believe they are in K4 and Merritt is not far behind them. Of course Sophie had to have her picture made with Miss Natalie her favorite teacher.

Roasting Marshmellows

Enjoying roasting some marshmellows on a nice Sunday night. Nothing like a roasted marshellow for dessert and ending a day of playing hard. Granny and Papa stopped by on there way home from the river to eat supper and visit.

Playing Around

We were just playing around after bath time. You can tell in the first picture she has tired eyes. The second picture I asked her to give me the crazy eye..I enjoy just spending some down time with my princess.

Spring Time

Enjoying some time outside riding her bike and playing with Belle. Sophie wants a basket on the front of her bike for Belle. I am not sure if that is such a great idea.

I love watching Sophie on her laptop, it amazes me. She will come and ask me to get on Nick Jr and she does all the rest, plays games, paints and prints coloring pages. The third picture shows her favorite place to sit while on the computer. She looks like a minature teenager.

Diva Princess..

Our little Diva..Our little girl is getting so tall. She reminds me often that " I'm not a baby anymore." I still find myself walking to the baby section in the clothing stores. I actually cried last weekend when we were all in Sophie's room. She was helping us choose some things for less fortunate boys and girls. She was throwing things in the bag left and right. Some things I was pulling out b/c I couldnt give them up. She would tell me I dont need that anymore, thats for a baby. Sophie was right keeping things is not going to keep her small, but its so hard, time is going way to fast. We stay so busy all the time, I just wish life could slow down.

It was a beautiful day last Sunday. We spent the day at Tannehill Park , it was a fun relaxing day. I love watching Sophie and Stevie interact with each other. She is a Daddy's girl, I know what its like being a Daddy's girl. There is nothing like your hero being your Daddy. It was nice spending the day outdoors.
